The Ministry of Health has identified contact tracing as vital to eliminating Covid-19 and like other kiwi tech firms, this pandemic has us asking how we can contribute digital solutions to help individuals and companies in these unprecedented times. We’re pleased to announce the launch of our contact-tracing solution in partnership with reseller Spark NZ. ‘Traceable’ (www.traceable.mobi) is a COVID-19 contact-tracing app for business, a mobile app which aids organisations to capture visitor information, trace visitor proximity and notify of exposure to confirmed Covid-19 cases.
The process of contact-tracing is time consuming and relies heavily on the manual labour of healthcare workers, the patient’s ability to recall persons they have been in contact with, and the record keeping of organisations they have visited. By using Traceable to capture customer or visitor information, businesses play an important role in supporting the scalability of contact tracing for community transmission.
The application respects data privacy, is non-invasive (contactless) and unique to some other solutions in the market does not require customers to share their own device’s data.
Traceable uses custom-built character recognition AI to quickly capture ID details, date and time of entry from customers and visitors to your company’s premises. Manual entry fields provide the option to record contact details in case notification is later required. The solution provides you with a QR code for each location as another form of capture (depending on your situation).
Traceable Pro allows you to easily set up locations and use either AI, manual entry or QR codes for entry and exit or on your company devices. It’s easy to set up, and easy to use for customers and staff.
Traceable Pro is built for businesses with several locations and staff that come and go. As a business that is returning to work in Level 3 you’ll be able to easily know where your staff and visitors are and when. Traceable Pro provides granular data to help with notification and containment should that be required. If you’re a smaller business with one location, Webtools is making the app free to use for one location. This allows small businesses to be up and running in level 3 and level 2 while remaining compliant.
We're working with Spark NZ to bring Traceable to those organisations whose operations rely on physical interaction with persons both on and off company premises. We’ve already received strong engagement from businesses in the transport, construction, retail and healthcare sectors and we're proud to support the immediate and ongoing needs of these entities.
"TraceablePro is currently available for enterprise deployments. Any organisation that is still operating or planning for when our COVID-19 Alert levels drop to level 3 or 2, should really be implementing tools and systems that are going to enable them to operate both efficiently and safely at scale.” – Harry Hawke, CEO of Webtools Health.
Traceable is compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices.
